Parker purchased 90 acres in 2008 and is now planning to turn that parcel of land into a new park. The land is directly to the north of the existing 160-acres Salisbury Equestrian Park and Sports Complex.  Once the new park is completed, it will be the largest park in Parker.

The Town of Parker once your input for the new park through an online survey, which you can choose your favorite out of 28 possible options or you can write in your suggests.  They also plan to meet people at the farmers market, Parker Days and they plan to hold meetings to get feedback from residents.

"It's great to have a large site with so many possibilities," said Jim Cleveland, director of parks and recreation for the town, in an e-mail. "In addition to known needs, such as sports fields, we will strive to develop a design that uniquely represents the interests of our community. Park design has come a long way in recent years, and we want to create a special destination for our citizens that blends both active and passive uses."
