The list is very interesting.  Here are the top ten ways to turn off a buyer of your home according to Bankrate.com:

10 home sales killers
  1. Dirt
  2. Odors
  3. Old fixtures
  4. Wallpaper
  5. Popcorn acoustic ceilings
  6. Too many personal items
  7. Snoopy sellers
  8. Misrepresenting your home
  9. Poor curb appeal
  10. Clutter

The list makes sense, its just that one thing seems a bit out of whack.  Clutter certainly would have to be in the top 5, and depending upon how much wallpaper you had, it should rank above that for sure.  Clutter can kill a showing, and most buyers can't see past too much clutter.  Its impossible to visualize your funiture in a home with too much clutter.

Here is my ranking:

1.  Dirt

2.  Old Fixtures

3.  Clutter

4.  Odors

5.  Poor curb appeal

6.  Too many personal items

7.  Wallpaper (depends upon how much)

8.  Popcorn ceilings (depends upon how much)

9.  Misrepresenting your home

10.  Snoopy sellers
